Latest CATSNew evidence that HBO is effective for radiation cystitis (Oscarsson 2019)  and sudden hearing loss (Hu 2020)

Planned study of mild cognitive impairment in elderly patients with diabetes (BenAri 2020

Pooled analysis suggests there is (1) some justification for further studies into the use of HBOT for PTSD after mild head trauma (Hart 2019) and (2) a low rate of adverse effects in either arm (Churchill 2019).

Some further weak evidence that fibromyalgia may improve with HBOT (Izquierdo 2020).

60 treatments was associated with some signs of cognitive improvement but not with 3 months of doing nothing! (Haddany 2020).

Whither 2021? Well, 2020 was a washout but 2021 is looking a little rosier!

The SPUMS Annual Scientific Meeting was cancelled and now our expectations of going to Tutukaka in New Zealand next year are growing weaker by the minute. Watch this space for updates.
